Terms of sale
Last updated: 18 July 2026
These terms apply to all Customers, whether they are professionals (clubs, organizers) or consumers (individuals). Articles marked "Consumers" benefit only individuals acting outside their professional activity.
Article 1 — Purpose
These terms of sale ("Terms") govern the subscription to and use of the Scorbolt service, an online service for displaying live scores of competitions across multiple surfaces, published by C2SL (the "Seller"). They apply to any order placed on scorbolt.com.
Article 2 — Definitions
- Customer: any person who subscribes to a Scorbolt plan.
- Consumer: a Customer who is a natural person acting for purposes outside their professional activity (preliminary article of the French Consumer Code).
- Professional: a Customer acting for professional purposes (club, association, organizer, business).
- Service: the Scorbolt platform and its features.
- Plan: the offer subscribed to among those described in Article 4.
Article 3 — Acceptance of the Terms
Any subscription implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. The Customer acknowledges having read them before placing an order. The applicable Terms are those in effect on the date of the order.
Article 4 — Plans and pricing
| Plan | Price | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | Discovery, no payment (subject only to the terms of use) |
| Standard | €45 / month | The whole club, all surfaces |
| Pro | €75 / month | Standard + customization and statistics |
| Event | €150 / tournament | Full access for a one-off tournament, no subscription |
Prices are expressed in euros inclusive of all taxes. The applicable VAT is the rate in effect on the date of the order (standard French rate: 20%). The Seller reserves the right to change its prices; the price applicable to a subscription already in progress is the one accepted at the time of subscription, and any price change will be notified at least 30 days before it takes effect, giving the Customer the right to cancel without penalty.
Article 5 — Subscription
Subscription is completed online: choice of plan, entry of the required information, acceptance of the Terms and payment. The order is confirmed by a summary email. The sale is deemed concluded upon confirmation of payment.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is due in advance, at the time of subscription and then at each billing period for subscriptions. Payments are processed by our provider Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., a PCI-DSS certified payment service provider. Accepted means of payment are credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and other networks offered by Stripe). The Seller does not retain any complete bank card data. An invoice is made available for each payment.
Article 7 — Term, renewal and cancellation
The Standard and Pro plans are subscribed to for a one-month term, automatically renewed for successive one-month periods, as long as they are not cancelled. The Event plan is a one-off purchase, with no renewal.
The Customer may cancel their subscription at any time from their personal account or by writing to [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; no pro-rata refund is due for the period already started, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.
Consumers — In accordance with Articles L. 215-1 and L. 221-25 of the French Consumer Code, where the subscription was made online, cancellation may be carried out online through equally simple means (a "three-click cancellation").
Article 8 — Right of withdrawal (Consumers)
In accordance with Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Consumer has a period of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw, without having to justify their decision, using the form provided in the appendix or any other unambiguous statement sent to [email protected].
Waiver in the event of immediate performance. As the Service is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, a Consumer who requests to benefit from it before the end of the 14-day period expressly consents to this immediate performance and acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed, in accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code. In the event of withdrawal before the service is fully performed, an amount proportional to the service already provided may be withheld.
In the absence of waiver, the refund is made within 14 days of the request, using the same payment method as that used for the transaction.
Article 9 — Customer obligations
The Customer undertakes to provide accurate information, to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and applicable regulations, and not to undermine its proper functioning or the rights of third parties.
Article 10 — Availability and Seller's obligations
The Seller implements reasonable means to ensure the availability and continuity of the Service. The Service is provided "as is"; interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or external causes. The Seller strives to limit their duration and impact.
Article 11 — Liability
The Seller's liability may only be engaged in the event of proven fault and only for direct and foreseeable damages. Towards Professionals, the Seller's liability is, to the extent permitted by law, capped at the amount paid over the preceding twelve months. No clause herein limits the Seller's liability where the law prohibits it, in particular towards Consumers (statutory guarantee of conformity, fraud, gross negligence, personal injury).
Article 12 — Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy. The Customer has the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, which may be exercised at [email protected].
Article 13 — Intellectual property
The Service, the "Scorbolt" trademark, the software, content and graphic elements are the exclusive property of C2SL. The subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, limited to the term of the plan. Any unauthorized reproduction or exploitation is prohibited.
Article 14 — Force majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for a failure due to a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
Article 15 — Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint: [email protected]. The Seller strives to respond as promptly as possible.
Article 16 — Consumer mediation (Consumers)
In accordance with Articles L. 611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Consumer may, after having sent a written complaint to the Seller that has not received a satisfactory response within two months, resort free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of the dispute. The contact details of the consumer mediator designated by the Seller are provided upon simple request to [email protected] and will be specified in this article.
Article 17 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the absence of an amicable resolution: for Professionals, any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the place of the Seller's registered office; for Consumers, the protective jurisdiction rules of the French Consumer Code and the French Code of Civil Procedure apply (in particular the option to bring proceedings before the court of the place of residence).
Article 18 — Partial invalidity
If any clause herein is held to be void or unenforceable, the other clauses shall remain in full force and effect.
Appendix — Standard withdrawal form
